Gresham Hunt has been mandated by our investment banking client to find a new Associate to join their financial crime policy and training team. This is a great opportunity to join one of the largest banks in the world.

Our client is looking for a new Associate who is well versed in financial crime risk, with previous experience in the policy and training space. As a member of the second line of defence, you will play an important role in ensuring that the bank and its employees are aware of financial crime issues and knowledgeable of company policy.

You will be responsible for:

  • Helping the design and delivery of the bank’s financial crime training programme
  • Produce materials that reflect Bank policies and standards, in line with regulatory expectations
  • Keep up to date with regulatory developments, and update materials and review training programmes accordingly
  • Work closely with fellow second line of defence colleagues
  • Interact with key business line and financial crime stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of training programmes and policy updates

The successful candidate will have:

  • 3-5+ years’ experience within a second line of defence financial crime role, within a policy and/or training context, ideally within an investment, commercial, corporate, or wholesale banking environment
  • Good understanding of financial crime compliance regulations and operations
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven stakeholder management skills

Candidates from a Big 4+ background that have worked on these kinds of engagements will also be considered.
