This is an excellent opportunity for an AML/ Risk and Compliance lawyer to join a leading International law firm. This role can be based out of Birmingham or Glasgow.

A top International law firm with an incredible reputation within the legal market.
Description
Key responsibilities include:
Handling AML/CDD/KYC/Sanctions issues in respect of client onboarding
Ensure the firm is compliant with legal and regulatory obligations in respect of AML/KYC/sanctions
Monitoring and reviewing client risk approval on an ongoing basis
Undertaking ad-hoc risk and compliance projects
Supporting the wider team with risk and compliance issues, developing relationships across the firm
Responding to risk queries across the business
Assisting with risk audits and the implementing necessary measures and recommendations
Profile
The successful candidate will have the following:
2 Years PQE in a commercial background
Either contentious or transactional experience will be considered
An understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks
Strong academic background
Strong team player
Excellent communicator
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

This is an exciting opportunity for a AML or Risk and Compliance lawyer to join an International Law firm. The role will act as an opportunity to protect the firm and minimise risks associated with day to day business, and can be based out of either Glasgow or Birmingham.
