Healthcare Staff 24 are currently recruiting Forensic Psychiatric Nurses for His Majesty’s Prison Services in North, West and South London.
Duties: –
The successful candidate will provide specialist mental health triage, assessment, advice, and treatment to men with mental health needs within the prison. The post-holder will be a resource to staff across healthcare and the wider prison establishment, providing advice to healthcare colleagues, particularly GPs in the assessment, planning and treatment of patients on the prison residential wings.
An important focus of the work will involve embracing a recovery and enablement model which re-integrates prisoners with mental health problems with their local community-based mental health service upon release from prison.

Nursing Requirements: –
. NMC registered
. 6 months experience within a mental health setting
