KPMG’s Forensic Risk Consulting group proactively helps clients increase profits whilst reducing reputational, operational, financial and other risks. We are experienced in managing diverse issues including fraud, regulatory compliance, risk frameworks and dispute resolution. Digital Assets and Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) are becoming increasingly relevant in the financial services sector. As market participants evaluate adoption and implementation, KPMG will support our clients across the range of financial crime issues they face in AML, Sanctions, ABC, and Fraud. To support the growth of our Forensic Team, we are looking to recruit a talented Director who can take a lead role in accelerating our exciting new go-to-market propositions and lead on the delivery of engagements.The Role Key responsibilities of the role include:Leading and managing multiple Digital Asset Financial Crime and Forensic engagements across key clientsWorking with the key stakeholders across the firm to develop our go to market strategy  Supporting Partner and Director business development across key market propositions and sectors (e.g., Custodians, Sell-Side & Buy-Side firms, Crypto native firms).Managing the risk and commercial aspects involved in the delivery of projects including budgets, planning and project governanceDriving business development in the market, building a pipeline of work, identifying potential opportunities and executing.Lead on developing crypto client proposals The role will also give you the opportunity to get involved in broader advisory engagements – supporting clients to develop and transform their financial crime programmesThe PersonEssential requirements A financial crime SME with broad coverage of financial crime domains preferredA strong understanding of the financial crime frameworks and related considerations of large financial institutions & intermediaries.Demonstrated capability and experience in working across digital assets and DLT within financial services A proven record of delivering large scale projectsDemonstrable sales skills and experience, including creating new ideas to expand a team’s market offering and leading sales pitches to generate new workExperience managing teams of consultants and across a range of client engagementsPositive leadership qualities and style that empowers and motivates team members Confidence to influence stakeholders and able to quickly establish credibility with clientsAbility to identify and exploit commercial sales opportunities and support colleagues in defining solutions in response Excellent written and oral presentation skills with an inspirational and collaborate style  Desirable requirements Consulting background with experience in a capital markets/digital assets risk team as part of a professional services firm (Big 4 ideal)Subject Matter Expertise on one or more topics within financial crime to support development of our internal propositions and thought leadershipUnderstanding of financial crime technology solutions in the market and best practice deployment into business-as-usual operationsA final word from us…Everybody likes to say they’re different… but we really think we are.
