KYC Periodic Reviewer in a global bank Your new company This company are prestigious global bank who specialise in Investment Banking and Wealth Management. The role is within the Wealth Management business, which services individuals, families and institutions investing in both domestic and international markets, including equities, fixed income and derivative investments, financial planning, margin lending and managed funds. Your new role The KYC Review role is responsible for ensuring that Know Your Client (KYC) documentation throughout the client lifecycle is maintained for different risk rated levels of client to comply with the Firm’s global standards and local regulatory requirements. • KYC Periodic reviews on various entities such as large corporations, financial institutions, governments, investment managers, funds, joint partnerships, trusts etc • Support processes including Client Identification Program KYC review and remediation across all risk levels and Politically Exposed Persons (PEP) reviews. • Review documentation provided by Clients and Sales and follow up on missing documentation or inconsistent information with the firm’s records • Responsible for timely resolution of Sales queries and requests from Global Financial Crime, Compliance and Audit teams • Continuous engagement with line 1 to share KYC and AML/CTF related guidance, to improve the standard and quality of KYC and client due diligence across the business • Ensure periodic review and relevant approval records are retained properly in internal database and monitor the receipt of any outstanding documentation within required timeframe What you’ll need to succeed • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline e.g. Commerce, law, accounting or similar • At least 3 years experience in more complex KYC/CDD gained ideally from a top-tier bank. • Ideally some previous experience covering account structures such as trusts, investment managers, joint and other complex entities • Understanding of global AML/KYC standards, in particular Australian and UK FCA requirements would be highly desirable • Strong communication skills to effectively and clearly advise Sales teams and other stakeholders. • Self-motivated, enthusiastic and strong attention to detail with an investigative mindset What you’ll get in return An excellent opportunity for an initial 12 month contract at a global investment bank with potential for permanent or extensions.
