The Pharmacist Manager functions as a first-line professional manager of professional and nonprofessional positions such as Pharmacists and Pharmacy Assistants in a standard work area. This position has overall responsibility for all pharmacy services provided at the Center for Forensic Psychiatry (CFP) and acts in coordination and cooperation with the Clinical Director in all matters of mutual concern. This position directs completing a variety of assignments such as the compounding, dispensing, and preservation of drugs and medicines prescribed by medical personnel. This position works within general methods and procedures and exercises considerable independent judgment to select the proper course of action.

Education
Possession of a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy.
Experience
Four years of professional experience equivalent to a Pharmacist, including two years equivalent to a Pharmacist P11 or one year equivalent to a Pharmacist 12.
Additional Requirements and Information
Full Michigan licensure to engage in the practice of pharmacy.
