PROCEDURE WRITER – AML & KYC As a Barclays Procedure Writer – AML & KYC, you will be accountable for documenting new KYC process resulting from change in addition to performing annual reviews to refresh and optimize existing content. You will be ensuring the safe and successful delivery of changes into WCOB to be formally tracked and reported under the WCOB CoE Change framework. A fundamental part of this activity is creating procedures to enable adherence to new processes. You will have an exciting chance to be a part of the team that drives change and innovation. Please discuss the detail of the working pattern options for the role with the hiring manager. WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING? Utilizing AML /KYC knowledge to create and enhance KYC procedures Ensuring WCOB processes and procedures continue to align with the Group Frameworks, Policies and Standards via the Annual Review process Ensuring changes are delivered with a control environment focus Working closely with teams across Barclays to deliver changes in the most efficient way Acting as a SME for WCOB processes and procedures, providing guidance on how WCOB teams execute against mandatory control requirements and Policies and Standards Working on a number of projects simultaneously and being in charge of managing the priorities based on the impact of the change and its driver WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: Exceptional KYC procedure writing skills, experience in Anti-Money Laundering /Know Your Customer industry, and highly developed writing and presentation skills Demonstrated excellent analytical and communication skills as well as work with a diverse range of colleagues across multiple sites Critical thinking and ability to look for solutions ‘outside the box’ A positive attitude to change is essential and a desire to solve problems and deliver solutions in a timely manner is required SKILLS THAT WILL HELP YOU IN THE ROLE: Experience writing KYC processes and procedure documents, and an extensive understanding of AML, Sanctions, governance, and regulatory controls framework Knowledge of the KYC and Enhanced Due Diligence processes Understanding of Group Frameworks, Policies and Standards and operational implementation Familiarity with working, spearheading and delivering change within a time bound regulatory driven operation WHERE WILL YOU BE WORKING?
