Description
Key responsibilities include:
Ensuring the firm is compliant with the necessary risk and compliance regulations, monitoring this on an ongoing basis
Taking the lead with audits with regulatory authorities, taking necessary steps to ensure implementations are put in place when needed
Dealing with complex AML reporting issues
Handling complex KYC/ CDD/ AML/ Sanctions issues related to client onboarding
Responsible for designing a regional regulatory compliance framework and its implementation
Supervising junior team members
Profile
Qualified lawyer (7+ PQE)
Strong AML experience
Ideally experience working in an International law firm or a professional services business
Strong understanding of SRA framework and regulations
