Associate/Senior Lawyer role, White-Collar Crime for Private Practice Law Firm based in Sydney Your new company Our client is an award-winning law firm, widely recognised as leading experts nationally across corporate and white-collar crime. Your new role You will work amongst specialists in their field on some the most complex, exciting corporate crime investigations. Based in the international team, you will report to a partner and will run your own matters. You will build and develop client relationships, as well as mentor a team of junior lawyers, across the areas of complex taxation, fraud, and corporate crime investigations, anti-bribery and anti-corruption, anti-money laundering and cyber-crime. What you’ll need to succeed Admitted to practice as a lawyer in Australia with minimum 5-7 years PAE Current Australian Legal Practising Certificate Expertise in white collar crime and fraud gained from a top-tier or global disputes firm Extensive experience with large, complex investigations and litigation matters Experience in Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Analytical and inquisitive mind set Ability to prioritise work with a team to meet time sensitive deadlines Ability to analyse and work with large volumes of digital information Articulate communication skills and excellent written skills What you’ll get in return This role offers a unique opportunity to maximise your career as a criminal defence lawyer, with a firm that conducts large and complex defence cases in Australia.
