In this high visibility role, the Trade Compliance Manager will lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of an effective Trade Compliance Program, thus enabling Systech, Blue Bite, CDS and Caldera Graphics (“Caldera”) businesses to comply with relevant export, import and customs compliance laws and regulations, including software technology, under the jurisdictions of the countries where these companies operate. This role closely cooperates with the MI Regional Trade Compliance team, Product Compliance and Regulatory Compliance as well as the Dover and MI Law Department and Corporate Audit functions.
The role covers 4 separate companies, which sell a variety of solutions (Serialization, Track & Trace, Customer Engagement / Brand Awareness, 3D Visualization and Digital Printing solutions) to the manufacturing, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, FMCG/CPG, and other industries with customers ranging from the likes of companies such as Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, 3M, Grainger, Astra-Zeneca, eBay and many more
Design, deploy and maintain an effective and efficient Trade Compliance Program that is globally aligned and enables compliance with all relevant US/EU/National trade compliance laws & regulations including the Dover & MI policy, while enabling execution of business growth strategies.
Understand and support export control regulations on software technology.
Enable globally compliant distribution of on-prem and cloud-based software products and digital solutions.
Monitor and analyze changes to global trade regulations and other cross-functional initiatives that may impact the business.
Collaborate with Regional Trade Compliance Managers and teams of other regions, understanding and respecting regulatory requirements, thus enabling compliant imports and exports of products between countries and regions.
Manage the integrity of trade data in the ERP systems (i.e., HTS, ECCN and country of origin) and support monitoring of the systems in which they are maintained.
Responsible for communicating risks, proposals, regulatory updates, and strategies to internal and external stakeholders.
Conduct training sessions to improve business knowledge and operational performance.
Review and approve escalations related to Know Your Customer reviews of companies, entities, organizations, and individuals with Systech International, Blue Bite, CDS and Caldera intend to engage in business with including third party vendors and partners.
Ability to understand and interpret complex trade compliance laws & regulations.

Work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, Fluent English language skills a must, other languages a plus.
Ability to identify and resolve complex problems that arise in relations to trade compliance activities.
Available to travel up to 10%; flexible to work across global time zones.
Qualifications and Experience:
Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, or related field/equivalent qualification
5-8 years of trade compliance background in multinational organization
Export control and Trade Compliance experience specifically with software products and solutions
Experience in a corporate import/export compliance setting
Comprehensive knowledge of US trade compliance regulations and requirements
