- Attend and engage in CCL’s Mobile Device and PC Laboratory training programme
- Attend all of the various training sessions: Shadowing, Classroom/theory, Practical test cases, Competency test
- Carry out the forensic examination of ‘test’ mobile devices or PCs in accordance with CCL’s policies and procedures
- Utilise CCL’s case management system to effectively manage projects to ensure clients requirements and expectations are fulfilled
- Pro-actively acquire forensic knowledge to maintain up to date and improve processes within the laboratory

Essential
- Sound understanding of current ACPO guidelines and Forensic Regulator’s requirements (ISO 17025 and Codes of Practice and Conduct)
- Ability to work with a high level of precision and accuracy, with great attention to detail
- Computer literate
- Ability to work independently and make sound and reasoned judgements
- Sound analytical and interpretation skills
- Knowledge of forensic software
Education:
Essential
- Degree level qualification (2:2 or above) BSc in an IT related field; Computer Science or
- Digital Forensics degrees are desirable
Or - HND/HNC & 1 -> 3 years’ experience in digital forensics

Other Role Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years UK residency
- Full driving licence
- Satisfactorily pass pre-hire and annual security clearance procedures in accordance with the ACPO (Association of Chief Police Officers) National Vetting Scheme
