Main Purpose/Job Summary:

• Analysis of mobile devices in accordance with CCL-Forensics’ procedures
• Utilise CCL’s case management system to effectively manage projects to ensure clients requirements and expectations are fulfilled
• Off-site triaging, analysis and assistance
  Writing witness statements, reports and generating data to a standard that can be presented in court
• Communicating any case specific technical details to clients, coordinators and management
• Pro-actively acquire forensic knowledge to maintain up to date and improve processes within the laboratory
• Adhering to and assisting in the maintenance of ISO standards

Essential

• Sound understanding of current ACPO guidelines and Forensic Regulator’s requirements (ISO 17025 and Codes of Practice and Conduct)
• Ability to work with a high level of precision and accuracy, with great attention to detail
• Computer literate
• Ability to work independently and make sound and reasoned judgements
• Sound analytical and interpretation skills
• Knowledge of forensic software

Education:

Essential

• Degree level qualification (2:2 or above) BSc in an IT related field; Computer Science or
• Digital Forensics degrees are desirable
  Or
• HND/HNC & 1 -> 3 years’ experience in digital forensics
