Associate Consultant, Reputational Due Diligence

Control Risks

We are looking for a dynamic individual to be part of a team conducting due diligence and corporate intelligence in the Middle East and North Africa. The successful candidate will be a critical thinker with good communication skills, with an interest in business transactions and operations.

Role tasks and responsibilities

  • Undertaking case management of projects as required.
  • English and Arabic or Persian language research in support of a range of business intelligence and compliance projects including due diligence, background checks and problem-solving litigation support.
  • Ensuring the delivery of projects on budget, scope and deadline.
  • Preparing quality reports to clients.
  • Supporting the team on business development initiatives such as attending conferences, client meetings and briefings.


Knowledge and experience

  • Previous professional experience, ideally within the corporate intelligence industry on the Middle East, with at least 2 years working as a business analyst or researcher in a client-facing role.
  • Experience of conducting English, and Arabic or Persian language, research, managing projects, and presenting findings to clients.
  • An understanding of the region’s political and commercial environment, and demonstrated
  • Demonstrated commitment to business intelligence and compliance, with strong knowledge of research techniques, databases, networks, online registers and archives, and research in the general internet.
  • Experience of interacting with and managing a network of human sources.
