Operations Analyst

The Operations Analyst is responsible for managing the eDiscovery process from data intake to data production. The Analyst is responsible for performing all tasks across the Electronic Discovery Reference Model including tracking, processing, coordination and reporting of data. The Analyst will liaise with Project Mangers throughout the project lifecycle and must be able to effectively communicate.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Understands the other business segments within the Technology group
  • Strives to be punctual and attentive during team meetings and actively contributes
  • Shares knowledge across the team to promote efficiency and team interaction
  • Understands the EDRM and is able to perform data processing, imports and productions with assistance or guidance from others.
  • Troubleshooting discrepancies, investigating errors, and identifying custom solutions to handle exception files.

Requirements

Knowledge and experience

Essential

  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in written communications.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and provide solutions.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and processes.
  • Ability to multi-task several concurrent processing and administrative tasks.
  • Skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Ability to analyze, understand, and transform data to meet system requirements.
  • Background in eDiscovery
  • Technology background with SQL, Windows Server, and distributed platforms.
  • Bachelor’s degree in data analysts, computer science, system analysis or a related study

Preferred

Qualifications and specialist skills

  • Ability to analyze data and understand data migration throughout the various stages of eDiscovery.
  • A basic understanding of computer forensics, eDiscovery, and litigation support and the tools employed in these areas.
