Our dedicated global team of investigators, forensic accountants, compliance and technology professionals help organizations and their legal counsel respond rapidly to instances of alleged fraud, bribery and other misconduct, as well as law enforcement and regulatory inquiries.
Gather facts and evidences to detect and investigate fraud, bribery or any other noncompliance activities to help organizations manage relevant stakeholders;
Refine risk assessments and tailor compliance programs to help improve business performance and put integrity at the heart of the organization;
Assist with anti-corruption due diligence, both pre- and post-acquisition, as well as related investigations and compliance matters;
Conduct in-depth risk analyses to money laundering, restrictions on trade and export, related-party transactions, and conflicts of interest;
Support legal counsel to uncover links, patterns and anomalies in legal proceedings.
The opportunity
We are looking for staff and senior candidate who will support our client engagements and internal projects. As part of this team, you’ll experience ongoing professional development through diverse projects and tailored coaching.
Responsibilities:
Your key responsibilities
Review financial and business operation documents, and conduct testing to identify risks and inform senior members of the team about significant issues;
Assist in prepare working papers, schedules and reports that will be delivered to our clients and other parties;
Leverage on toolsets and products in the computer forensic realm to conduct document review and testing.
Communicate with client to gather project information or conduct interviews with client;
Design work procedures based on nature of the projects and guidance from senior members of the team;
Perform data analysis and select samples for testing;
Guide and lead junior team members to perform work procedures, and review junior team members’ work products;
Identify risks and inform senior members of the team about significant issues;
Prepare working papers, schedules and reports that will be delivered to our clients and other parties;
Leverage on toolsets and products in the computer forensic realm to conduct document review and testing;
Provide performance feedback to junior team members and help them to improve;
Build strong internal relationships across different services line.
Skills and attributes for success
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
Accounting / audit knowledge and investigation mindset;
Good skills in Excel, PPT and Word, and able to upgrade continuously;
Advanced written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese;
Proactive, responsible, patient, dedicated, innovative, spirit of teamwork and able to work under pressure;
Able to use SQL, Python or other computer language for data analysis is a plus.
Requirements:
To qualify for the role you must have
A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, forensic accounting or other relevant areas;
More than one-year relevant work experience;
Ideally, you’ll also have
CPA, CIA or other professional qualification in accounting, auditing or investigation is a plus;
Willing to travel.
