Representing a top-ranked team (Tier 1, Chambers & Partners and Legal 500), renowned for their general crime and protest practice.
You will be working alongside some of the country’s best criminal lawyers, with expertise acting for defendants involved in political, environmental and weapons-related protests. The team is reputed for their success in defending Article 10 and Article 11 issues, as well as justification defenses.
Some of these cases are now considered landmark cases and are used as precedent in protest law trials.
In addition, you will be able to expand your advocacy skills and be involved in defending cases, that receive a high level of publicity.
Requirements:
- UK qualified or Newly Qualified lawyer (at least 6 months of experience)
- Legal-aid or criminal defence background
- Strong academic background
