Our client, one of the world’s largest multinational law firms, is seeking an eDiscovery Senior Analyst to join their Global eDiscovery & Data Advisory team in EMEA. The Analyst will maintain databases, establish workflows, and provide support for collections, processing, review and production. The ideal candidate has full cycle litigation experience, strong attention to detail and be creative in solving problems. Experience with Relativity is required, knowledge of Nuix workstation is highly desired. Candidates with professional fluency in French, both written and spoken, will be considered first.

Responsibilities

  • Design databases and establish a workflow to support efficient document reviews
  • Oversee document review projects, including the application of analytics
  • Respond to the needs of department management, legal teams, and clients
  • Manage the implementation of database systems, external web-based document repositories, external web-based case management tools, etc
  • Carry out day-to-day database maintenance, reporting, and related document and electronic evidence collection administration, as directed or assigned
  • Work to accurately and efficiently ensure the timely flow and online availability of document and electronic evidence collections, as well as the quality of database content and associated document images on all matters throughout the region
  • Manipulate data load files between litigation review platforms to assure quality and cost-efficiency of document review projects and document management
  • Provide consultation to all offices concerning ESI for collections, processing, review, and production
  • Organise and Maintain documents and evidence
  • Work with attorneys, staff, clients, co-counsel, and independent consultants to document evidentiary materials related to assigned cases
  • Organise and index case documents and develop document retrieval systems best equipped for the engagement involved
  • Utilise computer-assisted litigation support systems, including electronic databases and the internet
  • Assist with the collection of documents in both hard copy and electronic form
  • Assist and coordinate document production where needed and understand key concepts of electronic discovery and the EDRM model

  • Perform quality and technical control of deliveries from vendors
  • Provide product training on litigation support tools
  • Maintain current knowledge of available eDiscovery and litigation support systems
  • Provide reporting to aid in all facets of workflow
  • Provide support to case teams on varied levels
  • Train and advise legal teams on the application and efficient use of technology; use expertise and hands-on experience with eDiscovery tools to provide technical solutions for managing data

Job Holder Requirements
Essential Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Relevant experience required, as well as experience in a Litigation Technology Support role
  • Full cycle litigation experience required
  • Knowledge of Relativity and other litigation software
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Desirable:

  • Relativity Review Certification
  • Nuix workstation and/or data processing knowledge
  • Data collection experience
