The Utah State Hospital is seeking Clinical Psychologists to work in the treatment of mentally ill and disabled patients in our beautiful inpatient facility.

Principle Duties
Provide professional psychological services in the areas of diagnostic testing and assessment, treatment plan development and implementation, program development and implementation, coordination of services and other related activities. 

Currently, we have openings in several areas of our facility: Adolescent, Pediatric, Geriatric and Forensic. We would like to hire qualified candidates with any of the following specialties: Pediatric Clinical Psychologist, Adult Clinical Psychologist, Neuropsychologist, and Forensic Evaluator.

The Ideal Candidate
 Our applicant of choice is:

  • licensed as a Psychologist, eligible to practice in the state of Utah.
  • able to competently provide diagnosis and therapeutic intervention.
  • experienced working with mentally ill individuals in an inpatient setting.
  • experienced in providing consultation, expert advice, and testimony.
  • experienced in providing individual, group, or family counseling.
  • knowledgeable regarding court/hearing rules, procedures and protocol.
