Duties:

You will process urine specimens for forensic drug testing.

You will maintain proper chain of custody documentation and laboratory records to ensure compliance with rules and regulations.

You will verify and label all urine specimens.

You will perform well documented technical procedures in specimen accessioning and preparation for initial and confirmation testing.

You will operate immunoassay analyzers used in testing urine samples.

Qualifications:

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience processing urine specimens for laboratory testing. Experience Identifying problems with tests performed such as unusual reactions or unusual instrument responses. Experience Assigning laboratory accessioning numbers to aliquots of specimens for forensic testing. Experience verifying the chain of custody documents match the specimen labels (for completion and accuracy). Experience checking for urine specimen adulteration.
