Glenville State University is seeking applicants for one full-time, tenure-track positions in the Department of Criminal Justice to complement the scholarly and teaching areas of the department. Persons with background and interests tin the area of field forensics are especially encouraged to apply. The position will begin as early as January 2023, but no later than August 2023.

Glenville State offers more than 30 academic programs and awards both associate’s and bachelor’s degrees. The Criminal Justice program is one of the largest programs on campus, with more than 150 students enrolled in the major. It is regarded as the top degree and program in the state by CorrectionalOfficer.org.
Glenville State University is also part of a United States Department of Education experimental site initiative (Second Chance Pell) and has delivered selected courses under that program at both FCI-Gilmer and Huttonsville Correctional Center since 2016.
