This is a project position. 
About the Position: 
This position provides maintenance, administrative and quality assurance support to the DNA and other sections of the crime laboratory.  The position is under the supervision of a DNA section supervisor and also takes direction from qualified analysts. The position will help reduce casework backlogs by providing forensic scientists more time to concentrate on evidence analysis, data interpretation, formulating conclusions and report writing.  Public safety for the citizens of Washington will be enhanced as the position directly impacts the mission of the Crime Laboratory Division by providing critical, underlying support to various aspects of forensic analysis performed by the laboratory.

The Crime Laboratory Division enhances public safety by providing high-quality forensic science services and forensic evidence training for all criminal justice partner agencies within the State of Washington.
