This position is located at the Department of Mental Health, within the Division of Inpatient Services’ Forensics Evaluation Services Address: 7901 Farrow Road, Columbia, SC 29203
As the Psychologist I, you will conduct forensic and sexually violent predator psychological evaluations and generate written reports on adults and/or juveniles involved in the adjudication process or committed to the Department of Mental Health’s forensic psychiatric hospital.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

May also testify as an expert witness. Evaluations will include competency to stand trial, criminal responsibility, capacity to conform, sexually violent predator evaluations, risk assessments and psychological consultation testing.
This position allows for a $20,000 Supplement yearly in addition to the annual base salary.
