Acceptable Experience and Education
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college preferred plus four (4) years of experience in a Law Enforcement/Forensic Science environment such as a property and evidence rooms, with one (1) year experience in a public safety agency is desirable; with, one (1) year full-time experience in commercial warehousing/inventory control environment; to include three (3) years supervisory or lead experience required.
Or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Certificates and Licenses Required:
Must obtain by date of hire a valid driver’s license applicable to job responsibilities, with a driving record acceptable to the County of El Paso.
Must obtain certification from the Texas Association of Property and Evidence Inventory Technicians (TAPEIT) within eighteen (18) months of hire and be certified with the National Crime Information Center and Texas Criminal Information Center, (NCOC/TCIC within eighteen (18) months of hire.
