We are currently recruiting for multiple Clinical Substance Abuse Counselors to function as a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialists at Central Regional Hospital (CRH) in the Department of Psychosocial Treatment (PST).
 
The primary purpose of these positions are provide a range of advanced group therapy and counseling skills.  Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Provide group and individual counseling.
  • Provide assessments for patients with substance use history, for diagnostic purposes. 
  • Function as a liaison with the clinical treatment units (Acute Adult, Community Transition, Forensic Services, and Geriatric Services) under the direction of the Psychosocial Treatment Senior Psychologist. 
  • All groups that are provided by this position should be evidenced based and related to substance use and abuse, through coverage for other disciplines may be required at times.

The normal work hours for these positions are between 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with flexibility primarily Monday – Friday with some weekend work. These are full-time positions and eligible for the full State benefits package including health insurance and retirement. These positions is designated Mandatory and must report or stay over during adverse weather.
